Haiku ~~~Easter sunrise

following a path
boardeded  windows open door
someone has been here

Red and golden leaves
covering the sagging floor
path is wide and worn

path drifted, animal tracks
winter sun shines through the cracks
it will be night soon

gentle breeze, bright sun
the daffodils are blooming
a lone colored egg

A Sunday with the art of Pamela Joy Trow

Ever since learning about "Day of the Dead", I have  enjoyed its whimsy and its warm and fanciful images another reality.  Though it is a part of the modern celebration of Halloween, All Saints and All Souls Days, it origins are in the Roman holiday of Lemuria which took place in May.

Pamela's  illustration are, a gentle blending of cultures, and I wanted to share them with my readers.  Enjoy!
