Full Moon tonight!

The first snows, the first real snows of winter,  have arrived with the Full White moon.  The Full Dark Moon, this year will be only a touch darker, because of the subtle penumbral eclipse tomorrow morning before sunrise.  Appearing to be the smallest full moon of this year, it once was the source of light for those who had extra goods or provisions to barter  at this Full Trading Moon.  In the distant past did our ancestors use the light of the Moon when Horns are Broken off to gather the sheds for making tools and other items, and to set snares for pelts during the Full Beaver Moon when the beavers were also preparing for winter?

Most trees have lost all of their leaves, save the few that cling tenaciously to the oak, and are silhouetted against the  silvery disk of the Full Tree Moon as shines through them as it rises into the dark  starry night sky.
