just stopped by

I don't know how many times i have passed this these interesting buildings, they are what remains of the plant that provided the power to operate several oil or gas wells.  over time I have watched and photographed its decline.

The encroaching marsh and  trees were swallowing up the fragile structures, rust was sculpting them, and at the same time weakening them., before the leaves were fully out and the tall grass and rushes surrounded them making them hard to see, and harder still to photograph, I pulled over to the side of the road and began snapping pictures.

Before the leaves and rushes hid them from view again.

And the works of nature and man entwined.
